Solar Power Project

Introduction of Customer:

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islambad (CIIT) started his journey in 1998, and established its first campus at Islamabad in April 1998. In August 2000, in recognition of CIIT’s achievements, the Federal Government granted it the status of a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI) through promulgation of its charter. The CIIT, besides its principal campus at Islamabad, has six other fully functional campuses at Lahore, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari,while few more campuses are in different planning stages.

Project Scope:
100 KW hybrid system is installed at Comsats, Islamabad. Scope of work included the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the works, involved in the proposed Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant. It consists of the design, engineering, procurement, supply/ transportation of materials at site, project management, unloading of materials at site, storage at site, handling of material at site, installation of all mechanical equipment’s, piping, cabling, Instrumentation and electrical system and other equipment’s within the scope of Technical Proposal as detailed out in this bid.

100 KW Hybrid System:
10 Infini inverters (10 KW)
120 Narada Cells (600 Ah)
400 Yingli Polycrystalline Panels (250 Watts).

Regarding benefit of this installation, it covers load shedding, reduces energy expenditures and carbon foot prints.
